We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter Decorator to join our growing business. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and priming prior to painting or decorating
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and other finishes with precision and care
- Ensure all work meets health and safety standards, maintaining a clean and organised work environment
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding project progress and requirements
- Manage time efficiently to complete projects within designated deadlines
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition, reporting any issues promptly
- Assist with colour matching and surface preparation as needed
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting or decorating is preferred.
- Valid driving licence is desirable to facilitate transportation between sites
- Good command of English language, both spoken and written
- Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to delivering quality workmanship
Pay: £16.50-£17.50 per hour
