About the Role
Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the efficient operation of our pharmaceutical warehouse.
This is a varied role combining warehouse operations, forklift driving, goods-in administration and SAP transactions. You will receive, book in, store, pick, pack and dispatch materials while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring compliance with GMP, Health & Safety and company procedures.
The role supports our 24/7 manufacturing operation and operates on a rotating three-shift pattern, working 5 days out of every 7 days.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and book in raw materials, packaging components and finished goods.
- Pick, pack and prepare materials for production and customer dispatch.
- Operate Counterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Trucks safely and efficiently.
- Operate a Bendi Truck following training (where applicable).
- Complete SAP transactions including goods receipt, stock movements and inventory updates.
- Maintain warehouse logbooks, stock records and documentation accurately.
- Carry out stock counts, inventory checks and stock reconciliations.
- Load and unload deliveries safely.
- Ensure materials are correctly labelled, segregated and stored in accordance with GMP requirements.
- Maintain high standards of housekeeping, quality and Health & Safety.
- Work closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, QA and QC teams.
- Report stock discrepancies, damaged materials or equipment issues promptly.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and the ongoing SAP implementation.
About YouEssential
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Valid Counterbalance and/or Reach FLT licence.
- Experience of goods receiving, booking in, stock control, picking and packing.
- Good IT skills with experience using warehouse or ERP systems.
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
- Reliable, proactive and able to work as part of a team.
- Flexible to work a rotating three-shift pattern covering a 24/7 operation.
Desirable
- Previous experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP-regulated environment.
- Experience using SAP.
- Experience operating a Bendi Truck (training provided).
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).
Shift Pattern
Supporting our 24/7 manufacturing operation:
- Morning: 5:45 am – 2:15 pm
- Afternoon: 1:45 pm – 10:15 pm
- Night: 9:45 pm – 6:15 am
Working 5 shifts out of every 7 days, including weekends as part of the rota.
Working Environment
- Pharmaceutical warehouse and manufacturing environment.

- Computer-based warehouse administration and SAP transactions.
- Full PPE required in designated areas.
