Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Social Media Marketing Intern to join our team. This paid internship offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in social media management and public relations within the hospitality industry. You will play a key role in enhancing our online presence, engaging with our audience, and supporting our brand growth.
Duties
- Assist in creating, scheduling, and publishing engaging content across various social media platforms
- Monitor social media channels for comments, messages, and interactions, responding promptly to foster community engagement
- Support the development of social media campaigns that promote our restaurant’s offerings and events
- Collaborate with the marketing team to brainstorm innovative ideas for digital outreach and brand visibility
- Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign performance and suggest improvements
- Help maintain positive public relations by engaging with followers and managing online reputation
- Stay updated on social media trends and best practices relevant to the hospitality sector
Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Strong interest in social media management and digital marketing strategies
- Excellent written communication skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with popular social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and LinkedIn
- Basic understanding of analytics tools to measure engagement and campaign success
- Prior experience or coursework related to public relations is a plus
