Barnsdale Gardens is an internationally renowned visitor attraction, with an excellent reputation, and comprises beautiful gardens, our Helenium Tea Room, gift shop and plant nursery. We are looking for a Shift Supervisor to join our very successful and friendly team.
Being a Shift Supervisor is busy, varied and fast paced, which is why we are looking for someone who is bright and brilliant. Someone who can assist the tearoom manager day to day, but who also has a talent for leading and motivating others independently. Whether you’re leading the team, stocking up or having to resolve a situation, you’re always focused on giving great service to our customers and ensuring your team do the same.
A successful Shift Supervisor must have personality, enthusiasm and the drive to support the management team in the day to day running of our Helenium Tea Room.
The ideal candidate will have a ‘can do’ attitude and be able to work in a team, whilst being able to use your own initiative and not be afraid to ask relevant questions and learn new things!
Other responsibilities, include opening and closing the tearoom, till and cash operation, stock control, making barista-style drinks and ordering stock.
