Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and friendly Camping & Glamping / Guest Readiness Assistant to support the day-to day running of our campsite and glamping facilities. This hands on, outdoor role is key to ensuring our guests enjoy a safe, clean, and memorable stay in a beautiful natural environment. You will be involved in a variety of practical and customer facing tasks, helping to maintain high standards across the site while delivering excellent guest service. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, attention to detail, and previous experience in hotel or janitorial services.
Flexible to accept shifts on any day of the week and weekends.
Duties
- Prepare camping and glamping sites by cleaning, organising, and ensuring all amenities are in place for guest arrival
- Assist with setting up outdoor equipment and ensuring safety standards are met
- Greet guests upon arrival, providing information about the site facilities and local attractions
- Conduct regular inspections of the sites to maintain cleanliness, organisation, and readiness
- Support with ongoing site maintenance including waste disposal, replenishing supplies, and minor repairs
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth guest check-in and check-out processes
- Respond promptly to guest requests or issues during their stay to enhance their experience
- Maintain high standards of hygiene and safety in accordance with health regulations
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred
- Experience in janitorial or cleaning roles is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work weekends or evenings if required
- Physical ability to perform manual tasks including lifting and standing for extended periods
