We are a small independent craft beer bar and bottle shop looking for an experienced, friendly and reliable person to join our team.
We are a small place with a lively atmosphere, lots of music and plenty of conversation. We are looking for someone who genuinely enjoys being behind the bar, likes talking to people and feels comfortable getting involved in the day-to-day running of a small independent business.
The role is hands-on and varied. You will serve customers behind the bar and at our small number of tables, pour and talk about craft beer, change kegs, clean beer lines, restock and organise shelves and fridges, operate the till and help keep the bar clean and organised.
As a small business, there will be shifts where you work with other members of the team and shifts where you will be working independently. You need to be comfortable with both.
We want someone who enjoys engaging with customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere. An interest in music, art, culture and different subjects is very welcome. You don't need to know everything about everything, but you should enjoy conversation, be curious and feel comfortable talking to different people.
