Duties
- Prepare surfaces thoroughly by cleaning, sanding, and priming to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Apply paints, varnishes, wallpapers, and decorative coatings with precision and attention to detail
- Use a variety of tools including brushes, rollers, spray equipment, and scaffolding to complete projects efficiently
- Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues
- Communicate effectively with clients and team members to understand project requirements and provide updates on progress
- Assist with site setup and cleanup to maintain an organized workspace throughout each project
- Drive company vehicles as needed to transport materials and equipment between job sites
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting and decorating with a strong portfolio of completed projects
- Valid driving license with reliable transportation for travel between multiple job sites
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, plans, or instructions in English
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and clients
- Knowledge of safety standards related to painting, decorating, working at heights, and handling hazardous materials
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift heavy materials, and work at heights for extended periods
