We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate patient care, assisting with dental procedures and ensuring patient comfort throughout appointments
- Greet patients warmly upon arrival and manage appointment scheduling efficiently
- Maintain accurate patient records and update information using IT systems
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and manage appointment bookings or rescheduling
- Assist the dental team with sterilisation of equipment and maintaining hygiene standards
- Support the administration of treatments, including preparing materials and assisting during procedures
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, managing correspondence, and organising patient files
- Communicate clearly with patients regarding treatment plans and post-treatment care instructions
Requirements
- Previous experience in a dental setting or nursing is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Strong patient care skills with a friendly and professional demeanour
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- Basic IT skills for managing electronic health records and appointment systems
- Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
- A caring attitude with a focus on delivering exceptional patient service
