Job Summary
We're looking for a creative, experienced and passionate chef to join our fantastic kitchen team. A keen eye for details and a passion for working with fresh ingredients - alongside being a team player are key for this role.
We're a busy, independently owned coffee, brunch and evening venue located in Dorridge, Solihull - with great staff perks and fantastic working environment.
Experience leading a team and working with freshly ingredients and developing creative menus is essential.
You'll be working in a friendly, customer centric environment in a fantastic Solihull village – where community is everything. You'll be tasked cooking fresh, whole foods and be given the opportunity to develop your own specials and put your mark on our amazing food menu.

Duties
- Follow instructions accurately given by Management.
- Responsible for organisation of all food products such as labelling and stock control.
- Undertake cooking duties and undertake prep in collaboration with a larger kitchen team.
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces etc.
- Working at a fast pace to ensure orders are out promptly
- Multi-tasking between different departments to ensure the efficient running of the business
- Ensure the quality of food and plating remains at a high level of consistency
- Opportunity to present and execute new menu ideas to owners and management.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation within a restaurant or catering environment is advantageous.
- Experience in preparing and cooking from whole, fresh foods.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in culinary settings.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong teamwork skills, with a willingness to help others and contribute positively to the kitchen atmosphere.
- Advanced culinary skills, including knife skills and familiarity with various cooking methods.
- Excellent time management skills, enabling you to prioritise tasks effectively during busy periods.
- Great team player that loves to work in a positive environment.

Pay: £12.50-£13.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week
