Bulldog Barbers, Luxury barbershop & colourhouse are looking for some one inspirational, aspirational, fun and artistic to join a growing shop in the highly affluent area of Sunninghill. Situated in the suburb just off Ascot, nearby to the stunning Virginia waters / Great Windsor Estate and exclusive Wentworth estate. We are ready to expand our team at our growing Barbershop / Children's hair salon. We specialise in Men's Luxury services and Children's hair cutting services. However, we are best known for being specialists in cutting special needs childrens' hair. The Salon is a super relaxed, friendly and fun workspace and we are super excited to be adding another edition to our team.
Bulldog is not only unique but will be setting the Bar high and offering a service that no other has before in the area, in a cool, modern, cutting edge styled shop.

This year we will be expanding our team in light of renovating our shop by the end of 2026, early 2027, to create 2, state of the art, immersive, Sensory hair cutting rooms.
The applicant must enjoy their job and want to be the best they can possibly be, while still being able to enjoy an easygoing relaxed barbershop atmosphere that men enjoy.
It is an absolute must, that the applicant is patient and enjoys cutting children's hair, as we specialise in children who dislike having their hair cut, and take pride in offering equal opportunities to special needs clientele / children.
The applicant must be able to adapt and be willing to take on training in special needs hair cutting.
Our SEN services are unique, and challenging, but extremely rewarding, and for the right applicant, the position will be a fantastic opportunity to learn new skills and approaches to being a stylist / barber.
We have a high volume of children coming through our doors and the applicant must be prepared for this.
At Bulldog, quality is more important than quality. We see hair as an art! We will be providing top quality hair cutting services alongside the owner who will be specialising in all chemical services including colouring, straightening, and perming. There will be future opportunities for the right applicant, to be fully trained in all aspects of chemical services and potential to move further into the grooming industries, such as hair removal and skin care.
You will have more time than the average barbershop for each client, with room to be creative and have a greater job satisfaction.
That being said, experience in the industry is important. The applicant must have 5 years minimum experience on the shop floor and have an exceptional eye for detail and confidence to go with it.
The applicant must be qualified in either;
NVQ level 2 in Barbering , NVQ2 level 2 in hairdressing, or even better, qualified in both.
Applicant requirements.
*Minimum 5 years experience and willing to learn new techniques and skills.
(The more experience the better. Advanced cutting skills and an artistic flare is desirable.)
*Friendly personality and MUST be VERY patient with children.
(With specialising in children, particularly special needs children, this job is not for the faint hearted, but is extremely rewarding.)
*Willing to progress in both skills and responsibilities over time.
(Cash handling and managing day to day runnings at a later date / learning new skills and techniques, particularly with childrens cutting.)
*Good initiative and proactive mindset.
(We are a busy salon, regularly fully booked, so being on the ball is a must. All our team are experienced in shop floor management and are proactive in keeping the salon running smoothly. Our team is small and our Barbershop / salon is busy. Some one with existing management skills or some one who has worked in busy salons for a long time and knows the ropes is a bonus, but not essential as training can be given for the right applicant.)
*Competent in all aspects of hair cutting. (Experience in long hair preffered. Colouring and perming a bonus. Ladies hair is also a bonus but not a requirement.)
