Sure Care Group has been providing nursing care since 2003, guided by five values that shape every shift: Kind, Courageous, Curious, Accountable and Respectful.
We're looking for a skilled night RGN to lead care through the night at Brocklehurst. Nights are their own discipline — you'll be the senior clinical decision-maker on shift, holding judgement, calm and leadership all at once. If you're at your best with that level of autonomy, we'd like to hear from you.
What you'll be doing
- Taking clinical charge of the home overnight as the senior nurse on shift
- Assessing, planning, delivering and evaluating person-centred care
- Safe administration and management of medicines, including controlled drugs
- Recognising deteriorating residents and escalating promptly to GPs, out-of-hours and emergency services
- Leading and supporting the night care team and setting the tone for a calm, safe shift
- Delivering thorough handovers and accurate, up-to-date care records
- Working within NMC standards, CQC regulations and our policies
What we're looking for
- Valid NMC registration (RGN)
- Confident, sound clinical judgement — able to make a decision and stand behind it
- Calm under pressure, and good at bringing that calm to the team
- Strong communication and handover skills
- A leader who supports and develops the staff around them
- Reliable — nights depend on it
Why join us
Brocklehurst runs on teamwork, and nights are no exception — the nurse and care team back each other, and you won't be left to sink or swim. We're serious about progression too: real professional development, revalidation support, and clear routes to grow into senior and management roles across the group. We'd rather grow our own than always recruit in.
Benefits
- Company pension
- Free on-site parking
- Paid breaks
- Ongoing professional development and revalidation support
