Care Required
We are seeking Female Support Workers (client will only accept females) to join a brand new team in providing support to an amazing young lady who has recently aquired a spinal injury. She required support with daily activities, personal care, continence care, social outings etc. She would like to live a life of a young woman and requires support to achieve this. Support will be in her own home in the DH1 region of Durham
We have 36 or 48 hour contract available consisting of a mixture of waking and sleeping night shifts.
Waking night 21.00 till 9.00.
Sleeping night is waking from 21.00 until 00.30 then sleeping midnight until 08.30, awake 08.30 to shift finish at 09.00. Waking hours paid at £14.00 per hour. Sleeping night rate £12.71 per hour.
YOU MUST HAVE
- at least 1 year care experience in the UK
- Not be on a sponsorship or visa to be able to work in the UK as we are not registered with the home office.
- Must be a car driver and have a valid UK drivers licence and be willing to drive the clients wheelchair accessible vehicle
- Have a degree of flexibility
- Experience of supporting someone with a spinal injury advantageous
- Compassionate attitude with a focus on client well-being.
