Role: Security Architect – Cloud Security
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Security Architect to join a high-impact government programme focused on delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions. This role offers the opportunity to shape and lead cloud security strategy within a complex, multi-team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the cloud security architecture and framework, aligned to business objectives and performance targets
- Design, document, and oversee implementation of cloud security controls and transition into managed security operations
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing strategic guidance across multiple teams
- Lead and influence key architectural and security decisions across the programme
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure security is embedded by design
- Develop and implement innovative security strategies to strengthen overall cloud security posture
- Conduct security assessments, audits, and risk reviews, ensuring timely mitigation of vulnerabilities
- Drive adoption of best practices, standards, and emerging cloud security technologies
- Provide solutions to complex, cross-team security challenges

- Cloud Security Planning – Advanced (P3) (essential)
- Cloud Security Architecture – Advanced (preferred)
- Managed Cloud Security Services – Advanced
