HGV Tanker Class 2 Driver - Full-Time /part time temporary to a Permanent Position
Essential:
· Clean Driving license
· Customer services skills
· Works in a clean & tidy manner
· Preferred previous experience in waste removal services (sewage), BUT can be trained up to complete the role
Caroline's Effluent Services Limited has over 24 years’ of experience in delivering waste management and jetting services – 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Caroline has built up an excellent reputation in the South East and has a growing fleet of pink tankers and van packs as the business thrives. She was also featured on Channel 5's popular show 'The Secret World of Rubbish'.
**We are expanding our fleet and now looking for another person to join our small but mighty team!**
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to work for a small business and enjoys having flexibility along with a great opportunity for overtime. You will be self-efficient as the job will involve lone working, unless the job requires additional help from other collegues or sub-contractors.
CES is currently looking to recruit a HGV Driver to join our small team. We're looking for an enthusiastic individual who is keen to work hard and reap the rewards. The ideal candidate must have a reasonable level of fitness due to the physical aspects of the job i.e. dragging and lifting pipes, drain lids etc.
You will also be responsible, safety conscious and happy to meet customers in a friendly and professional manner. You will be happy to report directly to Caroline.
As a HGV Driver your duties and responsibilities will be:
· Successfully achieve the daily jobs given and be able to keep good time management
· Driving and operating the tanker in a safe manner and reporting any issues to avoid any issues
· Assisting on the jetting side of the business as and when required
· Make effective use of safety equipment, particularly personal protective equipment. There is a zero toleration policy on health and safety.
· To comply with all legislative requirements, company policy and procedures at all times
· To return all job sheets, consignment notes and other associated documentation applicable to works at the end of the working day – or at the earliest opportunity when working away.
· Updating job details on the iPad provided once every job completed.
· Comply with Safety Inspectors or Investigators requests
· We are looking for someone to work towards the Supervisor role which we have avaliable.
Additional Information:
· Applicants must live within a 15 miles radius of Crondall, Hampshire as this is where the lorry is located
· Must be comfortable working with sewage and other non hazardous waste
· Must be happy to work a 10 hour day with 1 hour lunch break
· 20 days' holiday plus 8 days' bank holiday
