Specsavers Home Visits Stoke are seeking a highly motivated, friendly and reliable Optical/ Retail Assistant to join our growing domiciliary team.
As a Domiciliary Optical Assistant, You’ll be visiting patients in their own homes, supporting the delivery of a high-quality, professional optical service to those who are unable to visit stores. This is a rewarding and varied role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships and delivering outstanding customer service. We are a small team, who support and encourage each other every day.
What you’ll be doing
- Supporting patients through their eye care journey in their own homes
- Delivering excellent customer service and compassionate care
- Assisting with frame selection and dispensing (full training provided if needed)
- Working closely with a small, supportive team
- Travelling across Staffordshire, Shropshire, west Midlands and surrounding areas
What we’re looking for
We welcome applicants from both optical and retail backgrounds.
You’ll ideally have:
- Experience in optics OR a strong retail/customer service background
- A passion for helping people and delivering exceptional service
- Great communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive, team-focused attitude
- A full UK driving licence

Working Hours: Monday to Friday - no weekends 8.30 to 5.30pm - 40 hours per week
