About the Role
We are looking for reliable, professional, and hardworking Street Team / Event Stewards to join our growing team. This role combines event stewarding, customer service, and event crew responsibilities, ensuring the safe, secure, and smooth operation of a wide range of events.
You will play a key role in welcoming guests, managing crowds, maintaining a safe environment, and assisting with the setup and breakdown of event infrastructure. This is a physically demanding role that requires excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
- Welcome guests and attendees in a friendly, professional, and approachable manner.
- Ensure the safety and security of all visitors by monitoring event areas and following company procedures.
- Assist with crowd management, queue control, and entry point operations.
- Conduct ticket and accreditation checks where required.
- Provide guests with information about event schedules, facilities, and venue locations.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter anti-social behaviour and identify potential safety hazards.
- Respond promptly and professionally to incidents, emergencies, and customer enquiries using established procedures.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members using two-way radios.
- Work closely with event management, security teams, and fellow staff to ensure events run safely and efficiently.
- Assist with the installation, movement, and removal of event infrastructure, including staging, pedestrian barriers (Ped Fences), crowd control barriers, metal poles, mojo barriers, and other event equipment.
- Carry out manual handling tasks safely and in accordance with health and safety procedures.
- Load, unload, transport, and position event equipment before, during, and after events.
- Support event setup and breakdown activities as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain a professional appearance and provide excellent customer service at all times.
Requirements
Applicants must have:
- NVQ Level 2 in Spectator Safety (Essential).
- A minimum of 1 year's experience in one or more of the following:
- Event Stewarding
- Crew Work
- Warehouse Operations
- Working in a nightclub or club environment
- Previous experience using two-way radios (walkie-talkies) and confidence communicating clearly over radio.
- Previous experience in manual handling and working in physically demanding environments.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move heavy event equipment, including:
- Staging components
- Pedestrian barriers (Ped Fences)
- Crowd control barriers
- Metal poles
- Mojo barriers
- Good understanding of safe manual handling techniques and health and safety procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional, positive, and customer-focused attitude.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle challenging situations confidently.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
- Physically fit and capable of standing for extended periods while performing repetitive lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling throughout shifts.
- Flexible to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and event-specific shifts.
- Right to work in the UK.
