We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to join our team in our residential care home. This is a rewarding opportunity to help our residents enjoy meaningful, engaging, and fun activities both within the home and out in the local community.
Hours:
- 16–21 hours per week
- Working on a rota basis alongside another Activities Coordinator
You will be planning and delivering a varied programme of activities that promotes independence, wellbeing, and social engagement. You will work closely with the other Activities Coordinator to ensure our residents have a diverse range of opportunities and experiences.
Activities may include:
- Arts and crafts
- Games and quizzes
- Music and entertainment
- Exercise and wellbeing sessions
- Community outings, shopping trips, cafés, parks, and local events
- Seasonal celebrations and special events
Essential Requirements:
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Confident driving the home's vehicle to transport residents safely on outings
- A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
