Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant/Housekeeping professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of guest rooms and public areas, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction. Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is preferred, but full training will be provided. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic, customer-focused setting within the hospitality industry.
Duties
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as corridors, lobbies, and restrooms
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Restock supplies such as towels, toiletries, and linens in guest rooms
- Follow health and safety procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Assist with laundry duties as required
- Ensure all work is completed efficiently within designated timeframes to support smooth hotel operations
Skills
- Prior experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour towards guests and colleagues
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and cleanliness protocols is desirable
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks throughout the shift
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within a fast-paced environment
