This position is for a cover role without a set contract. Specifically covering on Mondays or Tuesdays when required: 9:30am - 4:30pm in Lidlington, other days may be offered on occasion.
Job Description:
TJ Sports is a professional sports coaching company based at primary schools across Bedfordshire and Milton Keynes. We offer fun sports activities, holiday camps, wrap-around care, and PE curriculum lessons. Working with children from 4-12 years, we deliver high-quality sessions to engage, educate and inspire all individuals. We understand the importance of providing a safe and welcoming environment, tailoring our teaching to meet the needs of every child. TJ Sports are looking for a passionate, enthusiastic and experienced sports coach to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver sports activities for children aged 4-12
- Develop and deliver sessions that promote physical activity, teamwork, and sportsmanship
- Work with a team to ensure a safe and positive environment for children
- Monitor and evaluate coaching effectiveness and make necessary adjustments
- Communicate with parents and guardians about sports activities and progress
Qualifications:
- Enhanced DBS Certified and Safeguarding trained
- Bachelor's degree in physical education, sports science, or related field (Preferred but not essential)
- 2+ years of experience coaching/ working with children
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles in children
- Access to a vehicle/ full UK drivers license
