Wee Tait is a busy and fast-growing events business based in Ibrox, Glasgow. We’re looking for a reliable and friendly freelance driver/ events assistant to join our team and help deliver unforgettable event experiences across Glasgow and the surrounding areas (within a 20-minute radius).
This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, working with people, and being part of a vibrant events team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver and set up a wide range of hire items, including bouncy castles, dance floors, flower walls, lighting, and more
- Be hands-on at events—helping with setup, styling, and occasionally staying on-site to assist during the event
- Act as a friendly and professional face of Wee Tait, interacting with clients and guests on-site
- Ensure all items are presented to a high standard and that client expectations are met
- Follow planned delivery routes and maintain accurate timing for drop-offs and pick-ups
- Safely load and unload equipment—working in pairs for heavier items
What We’re Looking For:
- A clean driving licence and confidence driving in and around Glasgow
- Someone physically fit, comfortable with lifting, and not afraid of manual work
- A people person—friendly, professional, and confident speaking with clients
- A team player with a positive attitude who can also work independently when needed
- Experience in customer service, events, or deliveries is a bonus but not essential
