- £14.71 per hour (rising to £14.91 after 1 year)
- Overtime paid at 125% after 42.5 hours
Shift Pattern : Sunday - Thursday 08:30am - 17:30pm
About the Role
We are looking for a Line Leader – Production to join our team at JZ Flowers. This is a hands-on role where you’ll lead a production line, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a production line to achieve daily targets
- Ensure materials and packaging are available to avoid delays
- Oversee the bouquets and plants, ensuring all products meet customer specifications and quality standards.
- Support, coach, and motivate team members
- Carry out quality checks and resolve or escalate issues
- Complete production paperwork and system updates
- Maintain high standards of hygiene, housekeeping, and safety
- Report equipment faults and support quick resolution
- Drive improvements to reduce waste and downtime
Requirements
Essential:
- Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
- Ability to lead by example and support/motivate a team
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Confidence completing basic administrative tasks and data entry
· A strong commitment to health & safety, hygiene and housekeeping standards
Desirable:
· Previous experience as a Line Leader/Team Leader/Supervisor
· Horticultural knowledge or experience working with flowers/fresh produce (not essential)
