Just outside city centre, up and coming barber shop looking for an experienced barber to take on a self employed role.
Your own client based is required, combined with a busy location and an established shop you will gain additional clients in-house.
We are looking for someone who would want to build a career here as part of a team, pushing the shop forward.
The position will be on a rent-a-chair basis where special discounts for a set time for client building can be discussed with an interview.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in barbering and hair styling, with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our clients.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional barbering services, including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the work area and tools.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently to maximise client satisfaction.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate records of services provided.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the hairdressing industry.
- Proficient in English with strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients.
- Exceptional customer service skills, ensuring a positive experience for all clients.
- Knowledge of various hair styling techniques and trends in barbering.
- A valid barbering qualification or certification is preferred but not mandatory for skilled individuals.
- Ability to work well in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
