Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Painter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for applying paint, coatings, and finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results that enhance the durability and appearance of our projects. Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, scraping, and masking to ensure optimal paint adhesion and finish quality
- Mix paints, stains, and primers to achieve desired colors and textures according to project specifications
- Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment with accuracy and efficiency
- Follow safety protocols and use protective gear to maintain a safe working environment at all times
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding project progress and any surface issues
- Maintain cleanliness of work area during and after completion of painting tasks
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality assurance, touch up as needed, and ensure adherence to project standards
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction painting or related field preferred; a strong understanding of painting techniques is essential
- Excellent communication skills in English to understand instructions clearly and collaborate effectively with team members
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and physical stamina for prolonged periods of standing, bending, or climbing ladders
- Knowledge of safety practices in construction environments and proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
