ARC Bedford is part of an independent group of 3 bodyshops that currently employ 45+ people across our 3 sites in Luton, Bedford & Daventry. All of our sites are accredited repair centres with BS10125 & PAS2060
As a Parts Advisor you will be an integral member of the operational team. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the parts department.
Daily duties will include;
· Ordering parts as required
· Receiving parts into stock
· Booking of parts to workshop jobs,
· Maintaining stock levels
· Dealing with internal customers
· Completing Vehicle Damage Assesments (training can be given if you are unfamiliar with this aspect)
Utilising your sound knowledge of vehicle layout, parts catalogues and computer stock lists, you’ll also ensure that parts are ordered to arrive on time and from the most cost-effective source.
The ideal Parts Advisor:
· Must have previous recent experience as a Bodyshop Parts Advisor.
· Full, valid and clean UK driving license.
· Candidates must have the ability to communicate at all levels.
· An organised & efficient working manner
· Be able to work logically with excellent attention to detail
· Have a committed and “can do” attitude
The hours are Monday – Friday 7:30am to 5pm
