Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products.
- Ensure all surfaces are sanitized, floors are swept and mopped, and waste is properly disposed of in line with health and safety standards.
- Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure consistency and quality of service.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks to the supervisor promptly.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations at all times to create a safe working environment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as required, ensuring high standards are consistently met.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and equipment used in professional environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing time effectively.
- Good communication skills to report issues clearly and follow instructions accurately.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive cleaning tasks and lift/move cleaning equipment as needed.
