About Turner Home
The Turner Home provides specialist, complex nursing and residential care for men with mental health challenges, memory loss, and acquired brain injuries. This support is delivered from our unique 59-person home in South Liverpool.
As a Registered Charity, we have delivered support to men with complex needs and behaviours for over two centuries, continually developing our understanding of need and our unique offer of person-centred support.

Job Description
- Carry out all duties to a high standard, ensuring we provide a standard of cleanliness for our residents
- Cleaning residents' rooms, corridors, bathrooms, dining room, and communal lounges
- Carry out deep cleans of workstations and machinery daily.
- Understand the cleaning requirements of different areas and equipment and the properties of cleaning materials, to ensure the areas are well presented and maintained in good condition
- Ensure daily and deep cleaning schedules are adhered to
- Be sensitive to the privacy and individual needs of our residents while cleaning rooms
- Carry out all regular laundry duties related to the role, including washing and drying of clothing and linen on a day-to-day basis.
- Put away linen in residents' rooms, including the labelling of clothing.
- Develop positive relationships with all residents, staff, residents' families, and other visitors to the home by becoming an integral part of the team
- Encourage residents to assist you and your team with daily work activities, helping them to maintain their independence and sense of worth
- Work safely within company policies, seeking advice and guidance when necessary.
- Lead by example and seek opportunities for personal and professional growth
- Attend statutory training and any other training as directed by the management
The Roles Available
A permanent housekeeping position of 22.5 hours (3 x 7.5 shifts)
A fixed term 6-month housekeeping position of 30 hours (4 x 7.5 shifts)
