Summary
We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Low Loader Driver to join our transport team based in Uxbridge. The role involves the safe transportation of plant machinery and specialist equipment throughout the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate HGV Class 1 low loader vehicles safely and professionally.
- Transport plant and equipment nationwide.
- Load, secure, and unload machinery using approved methods.
- Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
- Complete transport documentation accurately.
- Comply with driver hours, transport legislation, and company procedures.
Essential Requirements
- HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
- Previous low loader and plant transport experience.
- Good understanding of load security and transport regulations.
- Flexible approach to working hours.
Working Hours
This role requires a flexible approach to working hours in line with operational requirements.
Regular weekend working, early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays will be required.
