Job Vacancy – Tacker Upholsterer (Adjustable Chairs & Beds)
About the Role
Rise & Recline Ltd is a leading UK manufacturer of bespoke adjustable chairs and beds. Due to continued growth, we are looking for a Tacker Upholsterer to join our production team.
This is a hands-on role where you will be upholstering made-to-order furniture, ensuring every product is finished to the highest quality before leaving our factory.
Previous upholstery or furniture manufacturing experience is preferred, particularly using pneumatic tacking equipment, but full training will be provided for the right candidate with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Key Responsibilities
- Upholster bespoke adjustable chairs and beds using pneumatic tacking tools.
- Fit fabrics, foam and upholstery components to a high standard.
- Work from production specifications and quality standards.
- Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
- Maintain a safe, clean and organised work area.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to meet production targets.
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in upholstery, furniture manufacturing or a similar hands-on role (preferred but not essential).
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing quality work.
- Is reliable, punctual and has a strong work ethic.
- Works well as part of a team.
- Is keen to learn and develop new skills.
- Can work efficiently while maintaining high standards.
