Class 1 HGV Driver – Mobile Medical Units (UK & Europe)
Job Type: Full-time Location: Base UK / Travel across the UK & Europe
Salary: £3000.00 Per month take home.
We are looking for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to transport high-value mobile medical scanner trailers to hospitals and health centres across the UK and mainland Europe.
This isn't a typical "trunk and dump" driving job. You will be handling delicate, multi-million-pound medical equipment and operating on active hospital grounds. We need someone reliable, switched-on, and capable of representing our company professionally at every stop.
Key Responsibilities: Safe transport and manoeuvring of mobile medical scanner trailers across the UK and Europe. Basic setup and positioning of trailers at hospital sites according to site plans. Daily vehicle and trailer checks, ensuring total compliance with transport regulations. Working variable shift patterns, can including tramping and time away in Europe for the right candidate .
What We Expect: Because you are operating in public-facing medical environments and handling precision equipment, our standards are high:
Equipment Care: Your truck and trailer are your workstation. You will be expected to keep your vehicle spotless, well-maintained, and regularly inspected.
Personal Appearance: You will be interacting with hospital staff and members of the public. Smart presentation, clean company uniform, and a professional attitude are mandatory.
Punctuality & Precision: Medical appointments depend on these trailers arriving on time. You need to be a solid planner who anticipates route delays and border procedures.
Requirements Licence: Full UK Class 1 (C+E) licence with no more than 6 penalty points (no DD/DR endorsements).
Certifications: Valid Drivers CPC card and Digital Tachograph card.
Passport: Valid passport with at least 6 months remaining and the right to work/travel across the EU.
Experience: Minimum 2 years Class 1 driving experience, ideally with high-value, sensitive freight or specialist trailers.
Attitude: Self-motivated, comfortable working independently away from home, and proud of your work.
