Hotel Receptionist – The Welcombe Hotel, Stratford-upon-Avon

The Welcombe Hotel, on the edge of Stratford-upon-Avon, features 85 bedrooms, 7 apartments, a Spa with swimming pool, 18-hole championship golf course, and acres of landscaped gardens – making it a wonderful place to work and grow your hospitality career.
We are currently seeking a Hotel Receptionist to join our friendly and welcoming front office team.
About the role:
- Welcoming guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process.
- Handling guest enquiries in person, over the phone, and via email, providing helpful and accurate information.
- Taking reservations and ensuring guest details are accurately recorded.
- Managing payments, billing, and administrative tasks.
- Liaising with housekeeping, maintenance, and other departments to ensure excellent guest experiences.
- Maintaining a clean, organised, and guest-ready reception area at all times.
About you:
- Previous experience in a reception or front desk role is desirable, but full training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Confident in using computer systems and able to learn hotel systems quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passionate about delivering outstanding guest service.
- Able to work flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
