This position would be based at the Company’s head office situated in St. Albans, Hertfordshire.
The ideal candidate should have experience in the panel building industry and be competent in the design of LV switchgear using AutoCAD.
The Company will also consider applications from candidates who have experience in electrical control panel design and are interested in widening their experience to include the design of LV switchgear.
The main roles associated with this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Preparation of general arrangement drawings based on the Company’s type tested designs together with the client’s single line diagrams and data sheets relevant to the project.
- Liaise with the Company’s electrical project engineers to ensure compliance with the client’s specification.
- Preparation of detail drawings for sheet metal manufacture.
- Attend meetings at site or at client’s premises when required.
- Carry out site surveys when required.
