Marketing Executive (Part-Time, Term Time Only)
Location: Hybrid – Knaresborough, North Yorkshire
Hours: 15 hours per week, term time only. Flexible working across 2–4 days, with school hours welcomed where appropriate. Approximately one day per week in our Knaresborough office.
Salary: £17.50–£20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Based on 15 hours per week, term time only, this equates to £10,757.25–£12,294 per annum, paid in 12 equal monthly instalments and includes pro-rated holiday entitlement equivalent to 33 days' annual leave.

The Role
This isn't a role where you'll simply deliver someone else's marketing plan, you'll help shape it.
Working closely with our Managing Director and experienced trainers, you'll take ownership of our marketing activity, bringing structure, creativity and consistency to our communications while helping showcase the expertise that sets Future Finance Training apart.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver a practical marketing plan aligned with business objectives.
- Manage LinkedIn and social media content.
- Produce blogs, articles, case studies and thought leadership content.
- Develop and promote our "In Conversation" video series.
- Manage website content and email marketing campaigns.
- Research awards, conferences and networking opportunities.
- Work with subject matter experts to create engaging marketing content.
- Monitor marketing performance and recommend improvements.
- Support initiatives that strengthen client relationships and raise FFT's profile.
About You
You don't need to be an expert in finance, but you'll be naturally curious and enjoy learning about specialist topics before turning them into engaging marketing content.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has experience in a marketing, communications or digital marketing role.
- Is an excellent writer with strong copywriting skills.
- Has experience managing LinkedIn and digital content.
- Enjoys taking ownership and working independently.
- Can confidently work with subject matter experts to create engaging content.
- Is organised, proactive and commercially aware.
- Takes pride in producing high quality work.
- Enjoys working in a collaborative and supportive small business.
Experience with Canva, CRM systems, SEO, video editing or professional services marketing would be advantageous but isn't essential.
