Redwing Coaches of London, now part of the Skills Group, based in Croydon are looking for experienced coach drivers to join our existing driving teams at our Croydon site.
Working during school term times on our school contract, you'll be carrying out an essential role for our educational clients in the morning and afternoon, with the option to carry out 'in-between' work when required.
This is a part-time position working a split shift with guaranteed minimum hours.
You'll be carrying out school contracts (starting from Septemeber), but may carry out other types of work, including
- Private Hire
- Feeders
- Airport & Ferry Transfers
- Guided day Tours
- .....plus much more.
We operate a fleet of mainly Mercedes Benz Tourismo coaches all kept and maintained to the highest of standards by our in-house engineering team.
We ask you have the following:
- Full UK drivers license with minimum 2 years PCV experience, with no more than 3 points.
- Valid CPC of at least 2 years validity remaining.
- Valid digital drivers card (tachograph).
- Hold an existing or able to pass a satisfactory EDBS check.
- Checkable work history
- Right to work & reside in the UK.
Experienced in working on your own initiative or as part of a team, you will demonstrate good route planning skills, great customer service, sound geographical knowledge, a safe driving attitude with a clean driving record and a good understanding of tachograph & drivers hours regulations.
Reference will be required from previous industry employers, as will you being reliable and trustworthy.
Ideally, you should live within a maximum 60 minute commute of both our sites. Our business operates 24 hours a day, 7 days week all year round, including bank holidays, and you will be required to work a variety of hours to meet the needs of the business.
