We're looking for an enthusiastic, organised, and professional Care Home Administrator to join our friendly team at Wilkinson Park. This is a rewarding opportunity to play a key role in the day-to-day running of our specialist care home, providing vital administrative support that helps our residents receive the highest standard of care.
As the first point of contact for residents' families, visitors, professionals, and colleagues, you'll be the welcoming face of the home while ensuring administrative, financial, and clerical processes run smoothly and efficiently.
Working closely with the Home Management Team, you'll help create a well-organised, responsive environment where both residents and staff can thrive.

Oversee the day-to-day administration of the care home, ensuring efficient and accurate processes.

Maintain resident records and financial information, both electronically and manually, in line with company policies.

Process invoices, receipts, and resident account documentation accurately and within required timescales.

Support payroll administration to help ensure staff are paid accurately and on time.

Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Home Management Team, including preparing correspondence, reports, and documents.

Answer telephone calls, welcome visitors, and respond professionally to enquiries.

Operate office equipment and IT systems effectively, including Microsoft Office applications.

Support the smooth running of the home by assisting with a variety of administrative and operational tasks.

Attend mandatory training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of company policies and procedures.

Uphold confidentiality, health and safety standards, and safe working practices at all times.
We're looking for someone who is organised, approachable, and enjoys making a difference behind the scenes.
You'll have:

A minimum of 2 years' experience in an administrative or office-based role.

Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Strong numerical ability and excellent attention to detail.

Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

A professional and friendly telephone manner.

The ability to work independently as well as part of a supportive team.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle, as the home is located in Harbottle, where there is no public transport.
