Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Motor Mechanic to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Perform detailed inspections of vehicles using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools
- Conduct repairs and maintenance on engines, brakes, suspension systems, and other mechanical components
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and assembly techniques to complete repairs efficiently and accurately
- Interpret mechanical diagrams to troubleshoot issues effectively
- Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely when handling large parts or equipment during repairs or installations
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts used
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair processes and recommendations clearly to clients or team members
Qualifications
- Proven mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in vehicle or machinery repair
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and assembly instructions
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools
- Strong understanding, maintenance procedures, and safety standards
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work in various positions for extended periods
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication abilities
- Prior experience working with automotive or heavy machinery is preferred; relevant certifications are a plus
Pay: £29,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
