Job Overview
We are looking for a highly organised, technically capable, and proactive Ecommerce Operations & Systems Manager to oversee and improve the day-to-day running of our ecommerce infrastructure, digital operations, staff systems, and marketing support functions.
This is a hands-on in person role at our Aintree location for someone who thrives in a fast-paced retail and e-commerce environment, can manage multiple systems simultaneously and is confident solving operational problems independently.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Key Responsibilities
- Management and creation of all ecommerce processes and procedures,
- Ongoing ClickUp management and optimisation,
- Managing API connections; using Make.com to sync between Shopify and ClickUp,
- Maintenance of automations, workflows, and task management systems,
- Identifying operational improvements and implementing scalable solutions,
- Introducing and integrating AI platforms to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs.
Website & Shopify Management
- Full management and maintenance of Shopify and Shopify POS systems,
- Support store staff with POS troubleshooting and operational guidance, including occasional weekend support calls,
- Managing iPad procedures, hardware and software maintenance,
- Maintaining product meta fields and Search & Discovery filtration systems,
- Managing product badges, collection messaging, and customer journey workflows,
- Managing payment integrations and messaging including Klarna, ClearPay, Novuna Finance, Shop Pay, and similar platforms,
- Theme management, navigation structure, product templates, pricing visibility, and site availability settings,
- Supporting external developers and integrations, including BC/Shopify connection troubleshooting.
Marketing & Design
- Creation of digital and print marketing assets including:
- Paid social campaign creatives
- Email marketing graphics
- Website messaging and promotional badges
- Store signage and ticketing (standard and sale)
- Designing and implementing modern website updates and layouts,
- Ad-hoc graphic design tasks as required.
Staff & Operational Support
- Staff time sheet approvals
- Holiday request management
- Maintaining internal planning calendars
- Interview and recruitment support
- Providing operational support and guidance across teams.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong experience with Shopify and Shopify POS,
- Experience using ClickUp, Make, or similar automation platforms,
- Confident with ecommerce workflows and systems management,
- Strong understanding of retail operations and customer journey optimisation,
- Skilled in digital design and marketing asset creation,
- Highly organised with strong problem-solving ability,
- Comfortable working independently and managing multiple priorities,
- Experience with AI productivity tools and automation platforms is highly desirable.
