Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician/MOT Tester to join our automotive service team working Monday - Friday. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting vehicle safety inspections in accordance with legal standards, ensuring vehicles meet required safety and environmental regulations. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive MOT tests on a variety of vehicle makes and models, ensuring compliance with current legislation and safety standards.
- Perform pre-test inspections and identify any potential issues that may affect the vehicle’s pass status.
- Accurately document test results and communicate findings clearly to customers.
- Maintain the MOT bay, ensuring all equipment is calibrated, clean, and functioning correctly.
- Completing work in a timely and efficent manner

- Keep up-to-date with changes in MOT regulations and technical procedures through ongoing training.
Requirements
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience working with hand tools, power tools, and automotive systems.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely when handling vehicle components or equipment.
- Previous experience as an MOT Tester or in a similar automotive inspection role is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accurate testing and documentation.
- Full UK driving licence is essential, with a clean driving record preferred.

Pay: £33,000.00-£36,000.00 per year
