Nitron Racing Systems is a world-leading manufacturer of high-performance suspension systems for road, race, and motorsport applications. As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a highly organised and proactive Stores Person to join our team in Witney.
This is a vital role within our manufacturing operation, ensuring parts and materials are received, stored, organised, and supplied efficiently to support production. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining an accurate, well-organised stores environment and ensuring production teams have the parts they need, when they need them.

The Role
As Stores Person, you will be responsible for receiving incoming deliveries, booking stock into the system, organising parts within the stores area, and supplying components to production and sub-assembly teams.
You will play a key role in maintaining stock accuracy, ensuring materials are easily accessible, and supporting efficient production flow throughout the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and unload incoming deliveries.
- Book stock accurately into company systems.
- Organise and store parts in designated locations, maintaining a structured and efficient stores environment.
- Ensure stock is clearly identified and easily accessible.
- Pick parts accurately for production, sub-assembly, and customer orders.
- Supply components to production teams in line with business priorities.
- Maintain accurate stock records and inventory levels.
- Carry out stock counts and support stock-taking activities.
- Identify stock discrepancies and investigate issues when required.
- Liaise with Purchasing, Production, and Quality departments regarding stock availability and requirements.
- Maintain high housekeeping standards within the stores area.
- Support continuous improvements in stores processes and inventory management.
- Operate material handling equipment safely and responsibly where authorised.
What We're Looking For
Essential Skills & Experience
- Experience in a stores, warehouse, manufacturing, or logistics environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
- Ability to prioritise workload and manage competing demands.
- High levels of accuracy when handling stock and inventory transactions.
- Proactive, self-motivated, and able to work on your own initiative.
- Good computer literacy and confidence using stock management systems.
- Reliable with excellent attendance and timekeeping.
- Physically fit and comfortable carrying out a hands-on role involving lifting, moving, and handling stock throughout the day.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Experience within engineering, manufacturing, automotive, or motorsport environments.
- Familiarity with ERP, MRP, or inventory management systems.
- Counterbalance Forklift Truck Licence.
- Understanding of stock control and inventory management best practices.
