Are you passionate about delivering the highest standard of teaching and learning to young people? Chelmsford College is seeking to appoint an innovative, enthusiastic and motivated Lecturer in Functional Skills and GCSE maths to join the Department of Skills for Life and Transition.
The successful candidate will be joining a welcoming and supportive team of maths specialists who lead learning to Unlock Potential and improve outcomes for young people The successful candidate will deliver lessons following Pearson GCSE Maths (9 – 1) and Pearson Functional Skills Maths from Entry Level through to Level 1.
Applicants will need subject specific qualifications. We are ideally looking for an individual with relevant and up to date subject knowledge and experience, as well as the ability to prepare, plan and deliver high-quality lessons. However, we would consider newly qualified or unqualified teachers. Experience of assessing Functional Skills Maths would be beneficial for this role. Lessons will be delivered in person across our two sites in located in Chelmsford.
