Finance Business Partner

- Office based with option to work 1-2 days per week from home
The role of Finance Business Partner:
- Partnering with senior finance, technical and programme stakeholders to support decision-making
- Providing regular reporting and analysis on project performance, risks, opportunities and cost drivers
- Monitoring project budgets across multiple programmes
- Supporting financial planning, customer invoicing and commercial analysis
- Taking ownership of the annual budgeting process for the engineering function
- Leading periodic forecasting activities and identifying risks and opportunities
- Preparing and presenting financial insight to senior leadership and board-level stakeholders
- Improving financial processes, reporting tools and data quality
- Supporting financial awareness across non-finance teams
The ideal Finance Business Partner:
- Fully qualified accountant — ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
- Proven experience in a Finance Business Partner or commercial finance role
- Strong budgeting, forecasting and financial analysis experience
- Ability to build relationships and influence senior stakeholders
- Able to present complex financial information clearly to non-financial audiences
- Experience in automotive, engineering, manufacturing or technical environments highly advantageous
- Previous project accounting experience advantageous

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing timely financial insight, challenge and analysis to support both operational and strategic objectives.
