We’re on the hunt for some Front of House superstars to join our team at The Farmer’s Dog. We need hardworking and ambitious staff, because we are going to be nothing short of busy, with highs of 3,000 people hitting the site each day.
This is a bustling; busy boozer stocked with locally brewed Hawkstone beer & fresh seasonal food sourced directly from British farmers. We want this to be everything a pub should be. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Serving drinks quickly and accurately while maintaining high standards
- Providing friendly and professional customer service
- Taking food orders whilst giving recommendations on our menu and answering any questions our guests may have
- Championing our ethos of solely British produce within the pub
- Keeping the bar & restaurant stocked, clean, and well-organised
- Ensuring compliance with licensing laws and health & safety regulations
- Working effectively as part of a team to maintain a smooth-running pub
- Upselling drinks and promotions to enhance the guest experience
- Maintaining a clean environment across the pub
What We’re Looking For:
A strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
The ability to work under pressure in a high-volume setting. This is not a job for the faint hearted – it is very busy with no room for a lack-lustre or lazy approach.
A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards is what will ensure that you thrive in our environment.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills – it’s a diverse and big team, which requires malleable individuals who are keen to get stuck in and help wherever needed.
Previous bar / restaurant experience is desirable but a willingness to learn and improve is essential.
