Job description
JOB PURPOSE
·To terminate and test Audio/Video cables and looms with connectors (Soldering and crimping).
. To assemble metal work including panel wiring to set standards and specifications.
MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
·To terminate cables as detailed by the department manager. Working from job sheets and wiring specifications to achieve a consistent high standard.
·To undertake on-the-job training and to become fully familiar with the technical specifications set by the company.
·Any other reasonable duties and responsibilities considered appropriate by the management of the Company.
·To adhere to pre-set schedules and timings for the completion of work.
·To take reasonable care for the health and safety of self and others who may be affected by acts or omissions related to your work. Co-operate fully with the management of the Company with regard to any duty or requirement imposed on them by the relevant Health and Safety legislation to allow that duty or requirement to be carried out or complied with.
QUALIFICATIONS AND /OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
·Precision and attention to detail
·Ability to work with minimum supervision
·Knowledge of tools and instruments of the trade
·Ability to read wiring diagrams
·Basic ability to terminate BNC, XLR, and Cat cable
·Good time keeping
