It includes features such as automated scheduling, room booking, real-time updates, and student/staff portals. The platform is designed to simplify complex scheduling constraints, improve curriculum planning, and deliver more efficient, student friendly schedules.
The Role:
As a Customer Advisory & Professional Services Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality consultancy, implementation and advisory services across the full customer lifecycle.
Working closely with customers from onboarding through to optimisation, you will support them in adopting and effectively using Semestry, ensuring they realise measurable value from the platform. You will build trusted relationships, provide best practice guidance, and contribute to positive customer outcomes including satisfaction and retention.
This role combines hands-on delivery with ongoing customer advisory, requiring a strong focus on customer experience, problem solving, and continuous improvement.
This role is fully remote with the occasional requirement to travel.
We are looking for people who can demonstrate the following skills and experience:
Customer Delivery & Advisory
Experience delivering software implementation, consultancy or professional services.
Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them into effective system solutions.
Strong focus on delivering value and positive customer outcomes.
Customer Relationship Skills
Ability to build trusted relationships with customers and stakeholders.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to high-quality service delivery.
Problem Solving & Organisation
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve complex issues.
Ability to plan, prioritise and manage multiple activities effectively.
Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with changing priorities.
Technical & Domain Knowledge
Experience with timetabling, scheduling or similar systems.
Understanding of business processes, system workflows and data integration concepts.
It would be great if you had:
Experience using Semestry or comparable timetabling solutions.
Experience working within the Further or Higher Education sector.
Exposure to customer success, professional services or consultancy environments.
