Senior Support Worker
Location: Flexible
Pay: £14.75 to £16 per hour
Sleep In Rate: £60 per sleep
Overtime Rate: £18.20 per hour

We're looking for a dedicated and passionate Senior Support Worker to help lead our residential care team, supporting children and young people to achieve positive outcomes in a safe, nurturing and therapeutic environment.

What You'll Be Doing
- Supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager with the day to day running of the home.
- Leading shifts and ensuring high standards of care are consistently maintained.
- Acting as a positive role model and providing guidance and support to the wider staff team.
- Building strong, trusting relationships with children and young people.
- Promoting independence, emotional wellbeing and positive life experiences.
- Completing and overseeing daily records, reports and care documentation.
- Supporting with medication administration, safeguarding and risk management.
- Participating in on call duties where required.
- Ensuring the home remains compliant with company policies and Children's Homes Regulations.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience working within a children's residential setting.
- Experience leading shifts or supervising staff is desirable.
- A Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or willingness to work towards it).
- Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- A calm, resilient and child focused approach.
- A full UK driving licence is preferred.
