Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated CSCS Soft Landscaper to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and developing outdoor green spaces, ensuring high standards of horticultural and landscape maintenance. Responsibilities
- Carry out landscape maintenance including planting, pruning, turfing, and general garden care
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and specialised machinery such as excavators and irrigation systems safely and efficiently
- Assist with construction-related tasks such as setting out, groundwork preparation, and site clearance
- Maintain equipment including cleaning, servicing, and basic repairs to ensure operational readiness
- Support the team in installing new landscape features or refurbishing existing areas
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to ensure a secure working environment
- Collaborate with colleagues to complete projects within specified timeframes and quality standards
Skills
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is highly desirable
- Mechanical knowledge related to garden machinery and power tools
- Competence in using hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators
- Familiarity with irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Strong understanding of gardening practices, horticulture principles, and general landscape design
- Ability to undertake maintenance tasks independently or as part of a team
- Good organisational skills with attention to detail
- Physical fitness to perform manual labour including lifting, digging, and working outdoors in various weather conditions
