Duties
- Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
- Manage accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and reconciliation.
- Utilize accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft, or similar platforms to record transactions and generate reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, ensuring timely completion of all tasks.
- Support financial management by monitoring budgets, forecasting cash flows, and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
- Mentor junior team members by providing guidance on accounting procedures and best practices.
- Maintain detailed records of all financial transactions and ensure data integrity across systems.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with financial services or related industries demonstrating strong financial management skills.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, Xero, PeopleSoft or equivalent platforms.
- Solid understanding of financial accounting principles and practices.
- Experience managing accounts payable processes and supporting overall financial operations.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and accuracy.
