6PM to 6AM.
Summary
Burrows and Smith is a leading tier one component supplier, specialising in the focussed machining process of cast iron turbine housings.
We are currently recruiting for Nightshift CNC Machining Operators to operate a fast paced machining cell. The cell has aspects of turning and milling/drilling.
The role is a full time position on the weekend nightshift and is a permanent position subject to passing a probationary period.
Induction and training on machining, quality and health and safety will be given on the dayshift.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Applicants must have experience on operating a CNC machine.
- Applicants must have turning and milling experience.
- Applicants must be able to change tools/offsets on the machines.
- Applicants must be able to check components using the gauges provided.
- Applicants must be able to set existing parts on the machines
- Applicants must be able to work to in a high efficiency production cell
- Applicants must be able to work to our quality standards
- Applicants must be able to work to our efficiency expectations.
