Phillips Tyres Shepton Mallet Ltd are looking for a tyre fitter / vehicle technician to work in our family business.
We have over 50 years+ experience and specialise in tyres, as well as servicing & repairs. We have an MOT station and perform class 4 & 7.
The successful candidate will be required:
- to fit tyres to car and light commercial vehicles
- do other light mechanical work as required
The chosen candidate will ideally:
- be enthusiastic, reliable, and trustworthy
- Possess a genuine interest and passion for vehicle mechanics and safety
The following would be advantageous:
- Have experience in a professional workshop environment
- Have NVQ level 1 or 2 light vehicle/motor vehicle
Full training will be given to the right candidate.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday, and some Saturday's 8:30-2:30pm based on a rota system.
In return we are offering a salary of up to £30,000 based on experience and qualifications.
