Factory Operative – Alford Area
£12.71 per hour
Monday to Thursday | 6:00am – 6:00pm
We are currently recruiting for Factory Operatives to join a busy animal feed manufacturing facility in the Alford area. This is an excellent opportunity for reliable and hardworking individuals looking for full-time, long-term work with a four-day working week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating machinery used in the production of animal feed
- Mixing and weighing raw materials to production specifications
- Bagging, labelling and palletising finished products
- Loading and unloading materials safely
- Carrying out quality checks throughout the production process
- Keeping work areas clean and maintaining high hygiene standards
- Following health and safety procedures at all times
- Assisting with general factory duties as required
The Ideal Candidate:
- Previous factory or production experience is beneficial but not essential
- Physically fit and able to undertake manual handling duties
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Able to work effectively as part of a team
- Good attention to detail
- Willing to work in a dusty agricultural manufacturing environment
