We are looking for a fulltime house keeper to join the team at our seafront residential home. The post requires working a range of hours and every other weekend

Role Description:
To maintain high quality and professional standards of the home through exceptional hygiene, cleanliness and presentation.
Duties:
1. The housekeeper is accountable to the manager of the Home, who will supervise the standard of cleaning on a regular basis, and provide support when required
2. The housekeeper will take responsibility for maintaining the overall cleanliness of the home to a high standard, and will follow the clearly written schedule of cleaning. This will be signed by the person as each work area is completed
3. There are guidelines on the use of cleaning substances which may be potentially harmful (COSHH). These must be read and understood prior to commencement of employment
4. A uniform will be provided and you are expected to wear sensible footwear at work
5. Training will include the health and safety aspects of cleaning in a home of multiple occupancy and will be conducted initially at induction, and then with a certificated course within the first six months of commencement of employment. All staff are expected to attend
6. It is the responsibility of the housekeeper to report immediately to the manager any areas for concern
7. There are procedures to follow for cleaning certain waste products. Please ensure you follow these set guidelines as written in the policy and procedure handbook
8. Undertakes other such duties as may be required by the team leader and management
9. Carry out personal, social or domestic tasks as set out in a care plan, agreed with the client, in accordance with safe working practices and food hygiene regulations. Complete tasks in the time allocated
10. The Housekeeper will take responsibility to care of laundry including washing, drying and pressing
